PUBG Lite Open Beta Now Available In Europe

PUBG Corp. has developed PUBG Lite for players who have PCs with lower specs. The game has been a part of limited open beta for months and was initially only available in Thailand in January. Now, the open beta version of the game is available in multiple European countries and Russia. In total, PUBG Lite is now available in over 50 countries.

PUBG Lite open beta players will notice that maps like Vikendi an Sanhok are not present in the game. However, the developers could add more apps in the future. The game has a 4v4 mode, different in-game currency, and a new season pass.
In the initial announcement, PUBG Lite delivers "the PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS experience to players in areas where the core game’s required specifications are more difficult to achieve due to the hardware available. To this end, the PUBG LITE team has focused on balancing lower hardware requirements, without compromising on our quality standards. The end result is a build that is playable even on computers and laptops utilizing integrated graphics.”
PUBG Lite runs on PCs that have minimum specs such as Windows 7, 8, or 10, Intel Core i3 2.4GHz, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4000, and 4GB HDD storage. With PUBG Lite, the developers are apparently aiming to expand the battle royale experience of the popular game to systems with lower specs. The developers will add more maps and create exclusive content for PUBG Lite players.
